Gabriel Martinelli talks
Arsenal are in talks with Al-Hilal over a deal to sell Gabriel Martinelli to the Saudi Pro League side, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
Ornstein understands the Gunners have placed a €70million (£60m) valuation on Martinelli, who is open to moving to the Middle East before the end of Transfer Deadline Day
The 25-year-old turned down a move to Galatasaray earlier this summer after Arsenal received a €45m (£38.4m) bid from the Turkish giants, but a move to Saudi Arabia could be on the cards. Brazil winger Martinelli has just one year left on his Arsenal contract, though the club hold an option to extend by a further 12 months.

Marc Guiu problem
Napoli are interested in signing Chelsea striker Marc Guiu but they have concerns over his €29million (£25m) valuation, according to reports in Italy.
Corriere Dello Sport understands Napoli have identified Guiu as an alternative to Arsenal ace Gabriel Jesus, who is their primary attacking target.
However, Massimiliano Allegri’s side will likely struggle to afford either forward unless they offload a host of players this summer. Napoli are believed to be looking to raise funds by selling Noa Lang, Jens Cajuste, Jesper Lindstrom, Lorenzo Lucca, Walid Cheddira, Nosa Obaretin and Pasquale Mazzocchi.
Liverpool confident in Bradley Barcola race
Liverpool are growing in confidence that a deal will be struck with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola, according to BBC Sport.
The Reds are understood to have made Barcola their top target as they look to strengthen their attack before the transfer window closes next month.
BBC Sport reported in July that Liverpool were preparing an opening offer for the 23-year-old, who PSG value at an eye-watering €170million (£145.3m). While it is unclear whether an official bid has been made at any point, the same outlet are now claiming Liverpool are optimistic of landing Barcola.
The news comes after forward Barcola was left out of the PSG squad for their Ligue 1 opener at Rennes on Sunday.
Yankuba Minteh personal terms agreed
Liverpool have reached an agreement on personal terms with Brighton & Hove Albion winger Yankuba Minteh, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
He told CaughtOffside: “Minteh already agreed personal terms with Liverpool. He wants the move, he dreams of joining Liverpool after some African players did great there - from Mo Salah to his idol Sadio Mane - but for the moment we’re still waiting for a club-to-club agreement, which has still not been reached yet.”
Liverpool have seen two bids rejected by Brighton, the latest of which was worth €70 million, but they are expected to submit a fresh offer shortly and it’s highly likely that Minteh will become a Reds player before the transfer window closes on 1 September.
Man City reach Ayyoub Bouaddi agreement
Manchester City have reached a full agreement to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for a fee worth €100 million.
Enzo Maresca’s side have been in talks over a deal for the Morocco international for several weeks, following his eye-catching form at the World Cup, and they have now finally secured a deal to bring him to the Etihad Stadium.
As first reported by RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins, the transfer is worth €100m, and the deal will be formally announced shortly, with Bouaddi not in Lille’s squad to face Angers on Sunday afternoon.
David Ornstein reports that Man City will pay an initial fee of €95m with €5m in add-ons, with the teenager set to sign a five-year contract, with the option for a further 12 months.
Celtic to sign Ermin Mahmic
Celtic are reportedly close to finalising the signing of Slovan Liberec midfielder Ermin Mahmic as they increase their efforts to land a replacement for Arne Engels.
Mahmic has been on the club’s radar for several weeks and a deal worth €10m is set to be completed shortly, according to The Daily Record.
Schalke, Club Brugge, Union St-Gilloise and Toulouse are also interested in the 21-year-old, however Celtic are in pole position to finalise a transfer and it’s understood that he returned to Slovan Liberec in order to say goodbye to his current team-mates this weekend.
The Hoops are yet to finalise contract terms with Mahmic, but talks with Slovan Liberec are at an advanced stage and he is set to become their all-time record sale when his imminent move to Celtic Park is officially announced.
