Five clubs want Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford’s dream of completing a permanent move to Barcelona is not over but there are four other sides lining up for the England international star should the Catalan outfit choose not to take up their €30 million buyout option in his loan deal, iNews reports.

Barcelona are dithering over the future of Rashford as they chase alternative offensive signings, with Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva high up their shortlist after already signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle. Barca would ideally retain him, but their finances will dictate this.

Should they not take up their option, there are “at least three” Premier League clubs who are interested in Rashford, including Newcastle, Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Bayern Munich are also still interested in signing a winger and could target the Englishman.

Man Utd and Liverpool chase Ndiaye amid Everton contract talks

Manchester United and Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Everton star Iliman Ndiaye in what has been described as a “devastating” raid on the Goodison Park side, TeamTalk reports.

Ndiaye, who scored six goals in the Premier League last season, is in the midst of a contract standoff with David Moyes’ side, despite having three years left on his current agreement.

The Senegal star, who has been tracked by both United and Liverpool for a prolonged period, has reportedly knocked back several offers from Everton, who are said to be “relaxed” over the situation of the 26-year-old.

Ndiaye reportedly wants a release fee included in any deal that he agrees but his employers are so far resisting on this point.

Real Madrid set sights on Gvardiol after signing Konate and Dumfries

Real Madrid have secured agreements with Inter right-back Denzel Dumfries and Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate but are already turning their attentions towards another major transfer target in the form of Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol, Alberto Pereiro reports.

The Onda Cerro transfer insider claimed on X: “Mourinho has chosen Gvardiol. Florentino Perez thinks he’s the best of all the defensive options that they’ve shown him – even the two he’s already secured. They’re going to try for him come hell or high water!”

Gvardiol would be the final piece of the jigsaw in the reconstruction of Real Madrid’s defence this summer, with Antonio Rudiger also set to renew with the Bernabeu side.

Enzo Fernandez agrees Real Madrid move

Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez has agreed personal terms to join Real Madrid, a report from Marca indicates.

Fernandez is now only one step away from completing his move to the Spanish giants, having dropped persistent hints for months that he would love to complete a transfer to the Bernabeu.

But Real Madrid have to overcome the hardest hurdle in securing the former Benfica man: agreeing on a transfer fee with Chelsea.

The Blues have reportedly put an asking price of between €120-140m on Enzo, which is likely to be too steep for Los Blancos.
