Man Utd draw up massive midfielder budget

Manchester United’s summer transfer budget has been set at something in the region of €170 million to sign three midfielders, the Daily Mail reports.

The Red Devils have drawn up a five-man shortlist to replace Casemiro, including Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, Sandro Tonali and Aurelien Tchouameni.

On top of this elite figure, they also want Matheus Fernandes, Alex Scott or Tyler Adams, while Shea Charles has been mentioned as a potential squad player.

PSG target Osimhen as Ramos replacement

PSG are ready to make a big-money move for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, with Fichajes reporting that the Ligue 1 side is ready to offer the Super Lig side €75 million for the player.

Goncalo Ramos is likely to leave Paris in the summer, while there is even some doubt over the future of Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele.

With Luis Enrique’s side in the market for a centre-forward, they have earmarked Osimhen as the “perfect” addition, according to the Spanish source.

Liverpool seeking Alisson replacement

Liverpool are already hunting a replacement for goalkeeper Alisson, with the Reds carrying the expectation that the Brazilian will depart in the summer, Sky Sports reports.

Juventus are ready to make an offer for the ex-Roma shot-stopper in the summer. Given he only has a year left to run on his contract, there is a strong chance that he could be on his way.

The Anfield club, who already know Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah will leave at the end of the season, are currently in the process of ‘due diligence’ on potential replacements.

Real Madrid’s next manager: Unai Emery targeted

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has emerged as a serious candidate to take over at Real Madrid next season, according to TalkSport.

While the likes of Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp have been mentioned as potential targets for Los Blancos, neither appears a convincing option.

Emery, on the other hand, is said to be “high on the shortlist” of the Bernabeu club.

Although he is under contract in Birmingham until 2029, he is believed to be frustrated by the financial limitations that he faces at Villa.
