Barcelona want Estevao

Barcelona have rekindled their interest in Chelsea wonderkid Estevao Willian ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, as per Fichajes.

The Brazil international, whose participation at the 2026 World Cup is in doubt due to a hamstring injury, has reportedly been earmarked as a dream signing by the Blaugrana board as they look to add significant attacking reinforcements to their first-team squad this summer.

Hansi Flick’s side aren’t expected to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal from Manchester United and they are keen to explore an ambitious deal for Estevao, who has caught the eye during his debut campaign at Chelsea.

However, the Blues unsurprisingly have no intention of sanctioning a sale, with Estevao expected to be one of their most important players for the next decade.

Real Madrid prepare Enzo Fernandez offer

Real Madrid are plotting a €120m offer for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who has hinted that he would like to join Los Blancos this summer.

That is according to a report from Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez views Fernandez as a “strategic signing,” having tracked his progress for several months.

Fernandez still has six years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, but rumours of an exit have intensified in recent weeks and Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to test their resolve with an official bid worth €120m when the summer window opens.

Liam Delap makes decision

Chelsea striker Liam Delap reportedly wants to fight for his place at the club next year, despite rumours suggesting that he could be sold this summer.

The 23-year-old has only scored one goal in 25 Premier League matches for Chelsea and he is firmly behind fellow summer signing Joao Pedro in the pecking order, with the Brazilian having found the back of the net on 14 occasions in the English top flight this term.

Everton have been linked with a move for the former England U21 international in recent months, while Ipswich have even been tipped to bring him back to the club if they secure promotion back to the Premier League.

However, Delap has no intention of leaving Chelsea after just one season and he believes he can still make the move a success.

That is according to The Telegraph, who report that Delap wants to finish the 2025-26 campaign strongly before returning to the club’s Cobham facility over the summer in order to prepare for next year.

Andoni Iraola contact

Chelsea have made 'initial contact' with Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola as they ramp up their pursuit of a new permanent head coach.

The Blues sacked Liam Rosenior after just 23 games in charge last Wednesday and they are now on the hunt for a fifth different permanent manager of the Clearlake Capital era.

The likes of Xabi Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Marco Silva, Francesco Farioli and Xavi have all been linked with the vacant Stamford Bridge job over the past week, although the aforementioned Iraola has been touted as the frontrunner for the role after confirming that he will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season.

In fact, Chelsea officials have now initiated contact with his representatives as they look to discuss the possibility of appointing Iraola as their new head coach, as per a report from Football.London.

He is one of several managers under consideration and the Blues have reportedly reached out to Iraola’s camp in a bid to understand his plans for this summer.

Enzo Fernandez hint

Although Fichajes claim that Real Madrid are preparing an offer for Fernandez, Chelsea interim boss Calum McFarlane believes the Blues should reject any bids for the Argentina international this summer, if his post-match comments on Sunday are to be believed.

Speaking after Fernandez netted the winner against Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final, McFarlane told reporters: “I said to him [Fernandez] at the end, I said, ‘you like scoring at the back post for me’. And he just laughed.

“He does that really well, he's done it all year. It's one of his biggest attributes, that when you attack down the right, his timing of his runs, his ability to actually get good distance and height on his jump and his heading technique is really good,” McFarlane continued.

“He's a winner, he's got so much talent, he's got so much fight, he's massive for the group. And the best thing about Enzo is that he can do a bit of everything, but when it gets tough, you see the fight in him, you see him making tackles, you see him fighting for every loose ball. So he was exceptional today and deserved his Man of the Match.”

Brian Brobbey responds to speculation

Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey has played down rumours of a summer move to Chelsea following reported interest from the west London giants.

The Netherlands international, who still has three years remaining on his deal with the Black Cats, has enjoyed an eye-catching debut campaign at the Stadium of Light and FootballTransfers understands they will demand a club-record fee of €40m to sanction a sale during the upcoming summer window.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are understood to be keeping close tabs on Brobbey’s development ahead of a potential swoop this summer, while, Simon Phillips has revealed that Chelsea are also interested in landing the Sunderland striker.

However, the Dutchman insists he is yet to be informed of official interest from either club. Speaking to ViaPlay last week, Brobbey admitted (as per Sunderland Echo): “It is always nice when such a big club shows interest, but I haven’t heard anything myself. So, I don’t know.”

Nicolas Jackson confirmation

Nicolas Jackson will return to Chelsea this summer and the striker’s agent has provided an update on the future of the 24-year-old.

The Senegal striker joined Bayern Munich on loan last summer, with an option to buy, but Vincent Kompany’s side have confirmed they will not trigger the €65m buy clause included in the deal.

Following this news, Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, posted on his Instagram account: “Nico is having an excellent season with 28 matches played, 10 goals.

“African champion, German champion and also qualified for the DFB Pokal final. Bayern Munich did not want to activate the buy option, and Nico remains 100% focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and for the club.

“Bayern is a very big institution; the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible by the end of the season.

“The future… who can predict it? Trust the process, everything is possible.”
