Tottenham Hotspur have officially parted ways with interim boss Igor Tudor after just 44 days in charge.

The Croatian was appointed as caretaker manager following the sacking of Thomas Frank in February, but he was only able to pick up one point from five Premier League matches in charge, while he also oversaw Spurs’ exit to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16.

In an official statement posted on the club’s website, Tottenham said: “We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect.

“Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach.

“We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.

“An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.”

Igor Tudor leaves Spurs

Tudor has left Tottenham with the club languishing down in 17th place in the Premier League table, just one point clear of rivals West Ham United in the relegation zone.

The former Juventus boss suffered five defeats in his seven games as Spurs' interim head coach, with a 3-0 loss to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest before the March international break proving to be his last fixture in charge.

Roberto De Zerbi and Sean Dyche have both been heavily linked with the job, and it's understood that Spurs are likely to appoint a replacement before their next match against Sunderland on 12 April.

Tudor's former assistant manager Bruno Saltor will take charge of training sessions before an appointment is made.
