Birmingham City shareholder Tom Brady could be set to make a sensational appearance at this year's WWE Wrestlemania in a few weeks.

In August of 2023, the NFL and Super Bowl icon became minority owner in the English side in partnership with majority owners Knighthead Capital Management LLC, while he also received a seat in a new advisory board at the club.

"Tom Brady joining the Birmingham City team is a statement of intent. We are setting the bar at world class," Knighthead co-founder Tom Wagner said at the time.

"Tom is both investing [as well as] committing his time and extensive expertise.

"As chair of the advisory board Tom will have a direct impact on the club. The men's, women's, and academy teams are going to benefit from [his] knowledge.

"The goal that Tom has committed to is to make Birmingham City a respected leader in nutrition, health, wellness, and recovery across the world of football."

Brady has undoubtedly been busy since retiring from the NFL, but he might be about to get physical again - at Wrestlemania 42.

At the moment, he is involved in a tongue-in-cheek feud with WWE star Logan Paul after he made some scathing comments about professional wrestling.

"You know, all their stuff is so cute and scripted, and they know what’s going on," Brady said. "In a football game, you don’t know, so they wouldn’t get near me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’ll punch those guys right in the throat and they’d be probably crying."

Paul hit back, defending the sport before the pair got into an 'altercation' during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic exhibition match over the weekend.

Brady threw the ball into Paul's midriff, and the pair appeared to argue.

This is all apparently part of a storyline, however, and the plan is for Brady to get involved in some capacity at Wrestlemania in Las Vegas.

Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer confirmed:

"From what I have been told, they are in negotiations for Tom Brady. But there’s absolutely not a deal at this point. So it could happen, obviously Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working, everyone knows they’re working the angle. I think people have seen that coming in, but there could be something in some form at WrestleMania.

"What they did in the football game was clearly to build it, all the talk of Tom Brady cutting down pro-wrestlers and all the wrestlers responding, that is all storyline. That is not, 'Tom Brady’s a d*** and he doesn’t respect pro wrestling.'"

Celebrities becoming involved in Wrestlemania stories is nothing new, in fact it has been part of the show since the very first Wrestlemania, in which Mr.T was involved in a tag-team match alongside Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.
