Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been handed a big boost by the news that RB Leipzig wonderkid Yan Diomande is too expensive for Bayern Munich as things stand.

The Ivorian winger is the Bundesliga's most sought-after player at present. Diomande only joined Leipzig for €20 million in the summer, but he has already been given a €100m price tag.

With seven goals and four assists in 18 games, the 19-year-old has put his name firmly on the map. Diomande, who only made his senior Ivory Coast debut in October, was a starter at the Africa Cup of Nations and is expected to play a huge role at the World Cup.

Several clubs have sounded out a potential January transfer for the teenager, but Leipzig have been unequivocal in their stance that he is not for sale mid-season. In fact, CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has even claimed that Diomande will also not be available in the summer.

However, many believe that this is just posturing from the Red Bull chief. Leipzig will sell if their valuation is met, and some suitors are hopeful that the wonderkid's price tag will drop to €60m.

Diomande too expensive for Bayern

For now, Leipzig are refusing to budge from the €100m figure they have in mind. Florian Plettenberg, though, reports that his final valuation will ultimately be informed by his performances in the second half of the season.

If he keeps up his current trajectory, Diomande will inevitable become even more expensive. However, if he becomes complacent and let's his performance levels drop, Leipzig may have to reconsider their price tag.

Premier League clubs will have mixed feelings about his price. On one hand, €100m is an inflated fee for a player who has yet to complete a full season of senior football. On the other hand, they know that they are the only suitors capable of paying such a hefty sum.

Indeed, Plettenberg reports that Premier League clubs will not have to worry about Bayern Munich if Diomande's price stays the same or rises even further. Although Bayern adore the Ivorian, there is absolutely no way that they would pay €100m for him.

As for Diomande himself, he recently admitted that he dreams of a move to Liverpool. However, the Reds are not the only English club keen on him. The journalists states that scouts from Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Man Utd all regularly watch him in the flesh.
