Max Dowman produced one of the goals of the season as Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 4-2 in the UEFA Youth League.

The 15-year-old has been breaking various records since bursting onto the scene, and he made his first-team debut for Arsenal earlier in the season. Dowman became the second-youngest Premier League player when he entered the pitch against Leeds in August.

Two months later, he became the Gunners' youngest-ever starter, and earlier this month, he became the youngest player to ever appear in the Champions League when he came on as a substitute in a 3-0 win over Slavia Prague.

Despite his quick rise to prominence, Arsenal have made sure not to put too much pressure on the youngster too soon, hence why he is not part of Mikel Arteta's squad that will host unbeaten Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at the Emirates.

Instead, Dowman played in Arsenal's youth league clash with the German side, which has served as an appetiser for the big game later on. As he has so often done this season, the teenager again made headlines.

Dowman scores outrageous goal

Dowman, having already netted once, got hold of the ball in stoppage time with the score 3-2 in Arsenal's favour. Instead of heading to the corner flag to take seconds off the clock, he drove at the goal.

After nutmegging and skipping past one defender, he pirouetted around another before coolly chipping the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper to produce one of the goals of the season.

Naturally, Dowman has gone viral on social media thanks to his goal, which has somewhat overshadowed the fact that Arsenal's win was also noteworthy for another reason.

During the game, the Gunners brought on two notable players: 13-year-old Luis Munoz, who became the youngest player to appear in the Youth League in the process, and Emerson Nwaneri, the younger brother of first-team star Ethan.

The win over Bayern is Arsenal's first of the current Youth League season and keeps them in the mix for the knockout stage ahead of their final game of the opening round against Club Brugge.
