Man Utd scout €99m 'Brazilian Haaland'
Manchester United have sent scouts to watch 17-year-old Brazilian sensation Dell at the Under-17 World Cup.
Graeme Bailey reports that United dispatched scouts to Qatar in the FIFA U-17 World Cup this month and one of the key players they are looking at is Brazil attacker Dell.
The 17-year-old has not disappointed with a sensational group stage for the South American side.
Dell impresses Man Utd scouts
He has scored three goals in three games to lead Brazil to the top of Group H.
The striker scored two in the 7-0 thrashing of Honudras on matchday one, while his late equaliser against Zambia ensured that Brazil finished above the African side in top spot.
United in Focus reports that United are seriously considering a move for Dell, who has a €99 million release clause in his Bahia contract.
However, signing Dell will be difficult because City Group owns 90% of Bahia’s footballing operations.
This means City will get first refusal on the player.
Dell has been labelled as the 'Brazilian Haaland' or the 'Haaland of Sertao' due to his talent and potential.
He has only made two appearances for Bahia's senior side so far, making his official debut in February this year.
For Bahia's Under-20 side he has seven goals in 11 games this season.

He is considered one of the most exciting young Brazilian talents in recent years and Man Utd will continue to monitor him over the course of the U-17 World Cup.
Brazil's next game in the tournament will take place on Friday or Saturday in the Round of 32 against a third placed qualifier.
