The Colombia international has become the subject of transfer speculation due to his consistently impressive performances for Crystal Palace under head coach Oliver Glasner.

The right wing-back has become one of the most devastating attack-minded defenders in the Premier League, notching a pair of goals and assists each across all competitions this term.

The 29-year-old has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona in recent days. On Friday, it was claimed that €30 million could be enough to prise him away from Selhurst Park in 2026. There have also been tentative links to PSG and Man City.

Currently away on international duty with Colombia, Munoz has now broken his silence on the transfer speculation, and his comments are certainly eyebrow-raising.

The veteran full-back admitted that it would be a dream to play for an elite club. He did not specifically mention Chelsea, but he did name Man Utd, Barcelona and Real Madrid as the calibre of club he aims to suit up for.

“First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about one club or another," Munoz said. "If you ask me, it would be a dream come true to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.

"I think I’m working towards that; I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because it’s a dream of mine to get there. Right now I’m focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace.

"If you ask me, I don’t have any concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace; we’ll see when the winter transfer window gets closer. Right now, I’m fully focused on these two matches with the national team."
