Tottenham Hotspur have finally found their replacement for Harry Kane, more than a year after selling their record scorer to Bayern Munich – but he’s unlikely to come cheap.
Thomas Frank’s side are ready to bring Ivan Toney back to the Premier League, according to Fichajes.
The England international is subject to interest from the North London side, who are ready to launch a €60 million bid for the striker.

Toney ticks all the boxes that Spurs are looking for in their hunt for a centre-forward, with a proven Premier League record with Brentford. He scored 36 goals in 85 top-flight matches for the Bees.
Off the back of this record, he was linked to a string of major clubs, including Manchester United, but instead he moved to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
Toney has scored eight times for his club this season in 11 games.
Spurs, meanwhile, have been fighting to find an effective replacement for Kane, with Dominic Solanke having so far come up short. Currently out injured, the former Bournemouth star has 16 goals in 48 appearances since arriving on a €64m deal last year.
Toney’s lavish Saudi wage
Toney’s transfer to Al-Ahli has made him the highest-paid English footballer in the world.
It is reported that he earns close to €470,000 (£407,000) per week in Saudi. Toney benefits from this figure being tax-free. Annually, his salary is €24.5m.
Harry Kane is England’s second-highest paid player at Bayern, where he is reported to have a wage of €460,000 (£400,000) a week.
The striker, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €26m, is under contract at Al-Ahli until 2028, meaning that he has around €61m left on his deal in Saudi. Even if he was paid this figure at Tottenham, he would lose around 45% of it in tax in the UK, slashing his income.
Matching Toney’s wages will be impossible for Spurs, but they will hope that the attraction of Premier League football is a sufficient draw for the 29-year-old to be brought back to London.
