Chelsea are leading the race to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers in January but would have to splash out over €90 million to get their man.
Rogers has developed into one of the Premier League’s most admired players over the past year or so.

CaughtOffside reports that Rogers has interest from a number of top clubs but it is Chelsea who are favourites to land the attacking midfielder in 2026.
Villa would demand over €90m, though, to even consider selling their star man.
Rogers to Chelsea
Chelsea are mulling over whether to make a concrete move in January.
The Blues have sometimes been over-reliant on Cole Palmer offensively, and that has shown during times when the England star has been unavailable or out of form.
Rogers perfectly fits the bill for the type of young talented player that this Chelsea hierarchy tends to recruit.
Rogers joined Aston Villa in January 2024 from Middlesbrough for an eventual €17m but his value has more than quadrupled in the two years since.
He has made 80 appearances for Villa, scoring 17 goals.
The number 10 scored an impressive 14 goals in Al competitions last season and helped Villa to a great run in the Champions League as they reached the quarter finals.
This season he has struggled a bit more, and has failed to find the net.
He has been capped nine times by England and scored one goal.
The 23-year-old is expected to go to the 2026 World Cup with Thomas Tuchel’s team.
