Chelsea manager Bompastor reveals the one interview question a man would never get asked
Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor has revealed the one question that she believes no man would ever be asked in a job interview.
The former France international led the Blues to a magnificent treble last season and she balances her work life with being a mother of four children.
Bompastor was recently asked to comment on a survey that confirmed that 78% of women working in football have faced discrimination in their careers.
She replied saying she was "Not surprised."
"Guess what was almost the first question everyone is asking me when I want to become a head coach or a manager?" the 45-year-old continued.
"So I'm going to tell you - 'do you think it's possible to be a mum of four kids and being a manager for a high club?'
"I think if you have a man in front of the same people, they will never ask that question."
Bompastor did confirm that she wasn't asked that question when interviewed by Chelsea.
The survey, released by the group Women in Football, detailed that discrimination against females in the game was "persistent and widespread."
63.4% of women claimed they had been the victim of sexist remarks, while 56% confirmed that no action was taken after reports were made about the discrimination that took place.
Arsenal boss Renee Slegers was also asked about the survey this week and said "there is still a lot of work that needs to be done" to battle discrimination.
"I think we need to stay critical, although there's been a lot of progress in that sense. It's not always in the big things, it can be in the small things as well. It's good to be aware of it," added.
