Arsenal submit Noni Madueke offer as Chelsea talks begin

Arsenal have reportedly submitted an initial offer to Noni Madueke as they intensify their pursuit of the Chelsea winger.
Mikel Arteta is eager to sign a new winger this summer, as he looks to end a five-year trophy drought, and Madueke has been identified as a key target by the hierarchy at the Emirates Stadium.
The England international has registered 16 goal contributions in 44 games across all competitions so far this season, but the Blues are willing to sanction a sale if they receive a suitable offer ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Enzo Maresca’s side are close to announcing the signings of Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, while Estevao Willian’s arrival from Palmeiras means that Madueke could be allowed to depart.
Although Chelsea haven’t formally placed him on their transfer list, Madueke is no longer considered ‘untouchable’ and rumours of a summer exit have intensified in recent weeks amid reports of interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners have now stepped up their pursuit of his signature by submitting a contract proposal to the 23-year-old.
That is according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who claims that Arsenal have initiated talks with Madueke as they look to land the Chelsea star.
Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that Arsenal are monitoring Madueke’s situation at Chelsea, although he states that an official bid has not yet been lodged by the north London giants.

Noni Madueke to join Arsenal?
Madueke still has five years remaining on his current contract at Chelsea, but a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer appears to be a distinct possibility.
Arsenal are also interested in the likes of Morgan Rogers, Eberechi Eze, Rodrygo, Nico Williams and Anthony Gordon, although Madueke has seemingly emerged as a top target in recent days.
The 23-year-old is naturally a right winger, however he has featured prominently on the left flank for Chelsea and England over the past few months, and he would therefore be capable of deputising for both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli at Arsenal.
