Real Madrid TV like 'Nazi propaganda from Joseph Goebbels'

La Liga President Javier Tebas has launched another scathing attack on Real Madrid following their reaction to Vinicius Junior receiving a four-match ban.

In the weekend's game against Villarreal, the Brazilian pulled the hair of Nathan Saliba and was shown a straight red card. He was subsequently given a two-match ban for the offence and a further two-match ban for confronting the referee after the decision.

Included in the four-game ban will be the Clasico against Barcelona and that's only served to fuel Madrid's conspiracy theories about La Liga and officials acting against them this season. It comes after last month's Madrid derby when Los Blancos felt that two Atletico players should have been sent off.

Real Madrid TV and Real Madrid-leaning outlet El Debate savaged La Liga for the Vinicius decision but Tebas has likened their output to Nazi propaganda.

"Real Madrid's management directs an orchestra of mouthpieces and Real Madrid TV leads the singing," he posted on X.

"Their score is always the same: select the plays that suit them, repeat the grievance, feed the suspicion, and point fingers at the enemies.

"That method recalls propaganda mechanisms exploited by Goebbels, Nazi Germany's Minister of Propaganda: systematic repetition, construction of an enemy, and subordination of facts to the narrative. The comparison is with those propaganda techniques, not with an ideology or, of course, with the Madridista fanbase.

"Real Madrid TV is a central piece of that machinery. Where is the full match analysis for each round of games? Where are the possible errors that harm other clubs or those that favor Real Madrid? If they applied the same magnifying glass to every match, the result might ruin their script.

"But the script demands that Real Madrid always appear as the victim. And that's how they reach the extreme of presenting even NO ERROR as an error and using the Negreira case as a permanent explanation for any decision they don't like. The suspicion is taken as proven, and the conclusion is written before the match even starts."

Atletico won the derby 2-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano, with Dean Huijsen being sent off early doors for Real Madrid, but head coach Jose Mourinho was adamant that the hosts should have had two men dismissed as well.

Replays showed he had a point with Kang-in Lee's tackle on Federico Valverde, but Cristian Romero's 50-50 challenge with Jude Bellingham was debatable. In the post-match press conference, he held up printed pictures of both tackles to show the media and didn't really address his team's performance.

He would, in true Mourinho style, launch an attack against refereeing standards in Spain.

Tebas previously responded to an article byEl Debate, which suggested there was a conspiracy against Los Blancos.

"Claiming that referees are directed against Real Madrid is living in another galaxy," Tebas said again on social media.

"That narrative serves as an excuse to cover up other shortcomings that are plain to see in these first matches of the season.

"It's more comfortable to point to a conspiracy than to explain what's happening on the pitch."

Madrid are currently fourth in La Liga, having won six and lost two of their opening eight matches. On Wednesday, they were forced to come back from a 3-1 deficit against Roma to win 4-3 in the Champions League.
