Man Utd make new Mbeumo bid
Man Utd have submitted an improved bid for Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo after several weeks of talks. The Bees rejected the Red Devils' opening offer at the beginning of the month.
Mbuemo is keen on the move to Man Utd, and positive discussions were held earlier on Monday, prompting the Old Trafford club to launch a new offer, which is closer to Brentford's asking price.
The new bid is believed to be worth north of €70 million, although an exact fee has not been disclosed.
Garnacho seals exit
Alejandro Garnacho has all but officially sealed his exit from Man Utd with his latest social media activity, posting a picture of himself wearing the Aston Villa kit of fellow Red Devils exile Marcus Rashford.
The Argentine is expected to leave Man Utd this summer, and his antics in recent weeks will have done little to change Ruben Amorim's mind that the Old Trafford club are better off without the winger.
Garnacho is fielding interest from Chelsea and other big hitters around Europe, but there have been no concrete developments so far. With pre-season slowly approaching, this could yet make for an awkward reunion should no move materialise imminently.
Man Utd offered Sancho swap
Juventus are willing to trade players to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho, after previously attempting a similar move for Antony. Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic are considered as potential makeweights, even though the pair cost the Bianconeri north of €130m.
Sancho has reportedly been prioritising discussions with Napoli in recent days, but the Serie A champions have stepped up their pursuit of Bologna winger Dan Ndoye instead, with fresh talks held on Monday.
Napoli prioritising Ndoye will leave Sancho no choice but to consider a move to Juventus, who have been courting him ever since he initially fell out with ex-boss Erik ten Hag.
Man Utd eye controversial Mbeumo alternative
Man Utd are among the many clubs interested in Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan, who is likely being targeted as a Plan B should the pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo fail.
However, it is unclear whether a deal is even possible as the Armenia international was born in Russia and may struggle to receive a work visa due to the ongoing tension between the UK and the Eastern European country.
Moreover, sanctions mean that striking a deal with Krasnodar could be next to impossible, making this potential move a major hassle.
Man Utd back in for Nkunku
Man Utd are once again considering a move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, with whom talks were already held back in the January transfer window.
Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea this summer after failing to secure a move in the winter, with Man Utd now having made fresh contact with the player.
Chelsea demanded a whopping €70m fee in January, so it remains to be seen if a deal is feasible from United's point of view.
