Arsenal Transfer News Today: DOUBLE striker signing after Gyokeres update?

All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Romano on Gyokeres

Arsenal remain firmly in the race to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres despite their advanced talks with Benjamin Sesko, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
“Manchester United keep calling for Viktor Gyokeres, but don’t forget Arsenal, because Arsenal remain in active contact," Romano said. "For Gyokeres, new contacts are taking place. He remains a strong option for Arsenal and a case to watch for the next weeks."
The Gunners are certainly a much more attractive destination for the Swede, but it ultimately isn't up to Gyokeres. He could be left disappointed if Arsenal decide to sign Sesko instead.
Arsenal to sign Sesko and Leipzig teammate?

Arsenal appear to be prioritising a move for Benjamin Sesko over Viktor Gyokeres, with a deal expected to go through should the Gunners definitively settle on the Slovenian.
Sesko, however, isn't the only Leipzig striker on the market. The Bundesliga side are said to be open to selling teammate Lois Openda as well, should a club match the Red Bulls' €45 million asking price.
Why is this relevant to Arsenal? Because the data suggests that the Gunners would be an ideal fit for the Belgium international, whose relatively low cost should make him an intriguing option for top clubs around Europe.
Arsenal keen on Bakayoko

Arsenal are interested in PSV winger Johan Bakayoko, according to Eindhovens Dagblad. The Gunners are even said to be 'exploring' a potential move for the Belgian.
Bakayoko was previously in huge demand, but a disappointing season for PSV has seen the hype surrounding him die down, while his stock has also dropped.
With just a year left to run on his contract, PSV are said to be willing to do business for just €20m this summer, which has naturally put Bakayoko back on the radar of Europe's biggest hitters.
Zinchenko interest growing

Interest in Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is growing ahead of the start of the proper summer transfer window, according to Just Arsenal. It is claimed that Serie A and Bundesliga teams are keen, and that Arsenal could be ready to sell for as little as €17m this summer.
However, FootballTransfers understands that this isn't quite the case. Despite Zinchenko's contract expiring next year, we are told that the Gunners aren't desperate to offload him.
Indeed, Mikel Arteta is willing to keep Zinchenko and lose him for free next year unless suitors cough up around €30m this summer. Unless the full-back actively pushes for a transfer, Arsenal will be inclined to keep him if their asking price isn't met.
We are told that Bournemouth approached Arsenal for Zinchenko, but their €17m valuation was considered too low. Arteta's good friend Andoni Iraola even spoke to the Gunners boss about the Ukrainian, but the Cherries were ultimately forced to pursue Adrien Truffert instead.
