Galatasaray paid a sizeable €18 million to lure him to Istanbul last summer, but Sara is no longer the focal point of his team. Instead, the versatile midfielder has had to become more well-rounded with his overall play, and this has seen his numbers diminish drastically.

Playing primarily as a central midfielder, Sara has recorded just two goals and eight assists so far this term, but Galatasaray are nevertheless happy with their investment as the 25-year-old has been a reliable regular in their team.

In fact, it is now being claimed that his performances have begun attracting big-name attention from at least three Premier League sides.

Man City want Sara

According to TEAMtalk, Man City, Nottingham Forest and Wolves have all been keeping tabs on Sara's performances in the Turkish Super Lig.

Galatasaray are reluctant to sell and believe that they are in a comfortable position due to his contract, which still runs until 2029. However, Sara is understood to be open to returning to England after just one season.

It is claimed that the Brazilian would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League, especially for a side that will play European football next season. This is seen as a blow to Wolves, who view him as a potential replacement for Man Utd-bound Matheus Cunha.

A potential transfer is still in its infancy, but Sara could be one to keep an eye on, especially as there have been rumours that he may have a release clause that is active for English sides competing in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether a move to the Premier League will materialise, but City, Forest and Wolves have been impressed with Sara and initial enquiries have already been made.
