Chelsea and Man Utd to rival Arsenal in transfer chase for PROLIFIC striker

Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all set to be in the market for a striker this summer and, with each side keen to look for cost-effective options, their searches have all reportedly led to one prolific target.
The striker market is expected to be fierce during the transfer window, with the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Delap all wanted by major Premier League sides.
However, PSR limitations have led to hesitancy in aiming for top level targets like Sesko, who is expected to have a price tag in excess of €80 million this summer.
Instead, CaughtOffside report that Patrick Schick could be a target for the Premier League elite, with Bayer Leverkusen allegedly willing to listen to offers in the range of €30-40m.
Schick has netted 30 goals across all competitions for club and country this season and the 29-year-old is said to be facing an uncertain future with Leverkusen, with his contract set to expire in 2027.
While no team is believed to be leading the race for Schick as of yet, his record in front of goal, combined with his physicality and relatively low pricetag has made him an appealing option for a number of sides looking to add experience to their frontline.
Schick in demand as Premier League giants target experienced number nine
Schick joined Leverkusen in 2020 and has been a regular feature for the Bundesliga side ever since, including a standout campaign in 2021/22 where he netted 24 goals in 27 games.
However, the Czechia international struggled with form and fitness in the subsequent seasons before returning this his best this year, grabbing 19 goals in 29 league games, of which only 18 were starts.

Arsenal are desperately in search for a specialist number nine and are said to view Schick as a ‘good option’ alongside other names this summer, with top target Alexander Isak comfortably out of their price range.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are searching for a more experienced alternative to Nicolas Jackson up front, while United are also keen on a senior striker to start ahead of Rasmus Hojlund, who will be available for transfer this summer.
