Benjamin Sesko: Arsenal 'agree personal terms' as Leipzig set new payment conditions

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, according to a bombshell report.
The Slovenia international has been on the Gunners’ radar for over a year and they are now locked in negotiations with Leipzig as they look to agree a deal for the 22-year-old.
Arsenal are also pushing to reach an agreement for Sporting CP centre forward Viktor Gyokeres and FootballTransfers understands that fresh talks were scheduled with his representatives following the Portuguese cup final on Sunday.
The north London giants are expected to sign either Gyokeres or Sesko during the upcoming summer transfer, amid Mikel Arteta’s pursuit of a new number nine, and they have now agreed personal terms with the latter, according to a report from Arsenal insider Team News and Ticks.
Benjamin Sesko to join Arsenal?
Sky Germany have also revealed that Arsenal are locked in discussions with Leipzig over a move for Sesko.
The Bundesliga club are reportedly open to a number of different payment structures for the Slovenia star, although Sesko’s potential transfer fee will exceed his €80 million release clause if Arsenal decide against a one-off payment.

Meanwhile, Sesko recently revealed that he will prioritise joining a club who will focus on his development if he leaves Leipzig this summer.
Speaking to German outlet Sport1, Sesko admitted: “The club has given me a lot and continues to give me a lot every day. It's a great club to develop at.
“[I want to] play for a club that suits me, that brings out the best in me. That's the most important thing for me.
“I'm currently a player for RB Leipzig, so I'm taking it day by day. If a transfer happens, and if it doesn't, then it doesn't.”
