Ten Hag sacked? Man Utd boss has hinted at the FOUR players who will suffer most

Erik ten Hag appears to be in his final hours as Manchester United manager.
Despite winning the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday, the Dutchman’s fate has reportedly been sealed.
Multiple reports, led by the Daily Mail, indicate that following an end-of-season review at Old Trafford, the board have taken the opportunity to dispense with him.

This will be a cause for celebration for some at Old Trafford, yet Ten Hag has already hinted at a quartet of players who may not be so keen to see him depart.
These are players who were not necessarily held in high esteem when the Dutchman arrived at the club, but who played key roles over the course of the last season. None are considered indispensable and could, therefore, still be sold this summer.
While the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund have won widespread praise and are seen as key for the future, Ten Hag outlined a strong supporting cast he saw as a “foundation” for the future. Another manager might not treat them so kindly.

“After a strong start, Andre Onana has proven to be a strong reinforcement, despite not having a settled defence in front of him,” Ten Hag argued in an interview with Voetbal International.
“Diogo Dalot has developed well this season and the same goes for Scott McTominay, who scored 10 goals, and Harry Maguire.
“And Bruno Fernandes, with fifteen goals and twelve assists, is simply one of the stars in the Premier League in the second half of the season, he has done a great job. So there really is a solid foundation in the selection. If we now create a good transfer window, we can really start rebuilding and take great steps.”
Ten Hag seemed eager to keep all of his unsung and often-overlooked quartet, yet if the Man Utd manager does indeed go through the exit door, they face the prospect of following.
