Ronald Araujo and Raphinha are the two Barcelona players most likely to be sold this summer, according to Catalan media.

The Blaugrana are still mired in financial difficulties, but as FootballTransfers exclusively revealed, the club hierarchy promised head coach Xavi some significant signings in a bid to get him to continue for another year.

In order to be able to bring in big names, however, Barcelona will need to cash in on someone this summer. While there is no shortage of potential candidates, the Blaugrana must be wary of not weakening their team too much given that they have been a fair bit off the pace in LaLiga this term.

Two potential areas in which Barcelona could afford to shed talent are at centre-back and on the wings. Due to the rapid emergence of Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi, the Catalans are well-stocked in those departments for years to come.

Indeed, Cubarsi's rise to prominence has given rise to reports that Jules Kounde could be on the market. Now, however, it is being claimed that a different defender could be cashed in on.

Araujo, Raphinha to be sold?

According to Catalunya Radio, Ronald Araujo is one of the most likely players to depart Barcelona this summer. In January, the Uruguay international was linked with Bayern and fresh reports have associated him with Man Utd and Chelsea.

Additionally, it is claimed that winger Raphinha is also one of the names earmarked to flush fresh funds into the Blaugrana's coffers. It has even been asserted recently that the Brazilian could be offered by Barcelona to Man Utd in a swap deal for Jadon Sancho.
