Man Utd 'prepare' move for AC Milan gem

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make a move for Tijjani Reijnders - despite the AC Milan midfielder moving to the San Siro just over the summer.
CalcioMercato reports that Erik ten Hag has been highly impressed by Reijnders' performance since joining up in the Serie A and has the ambition to bring him in next year. Ten Hag believes that Reijnders is an upgrade for their midfield, while it’s no secret that the former Ajax boss does have a soft spot for his compatriots when it comes to Man Utd recruitment.
Reijnders joined Milan for €20million from AZ Alkmaar and has already established himself as a key player in the midfield for the Serie A giants.

It is thought that Ten Hag is so impressed with Reijnders that he is planning to make a substantial offer to Milan, in an offer that could double the Italian club's initial fee - with a bid of €40m bid.
It is not clear yet whether such an offer would be made in January or in the summer, but there is an idea that Milan would be open to such a deal.

Will Tijjani Reijnders join Man Utd?
However, it is believed that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Reijnders as they look to bolster their midfield - even though Man Utd are said to be the front-runners.
Man Utd have endured a troubling start to their second season under Ten Hag, currently sitting in tenth spot in the Premier League table, having won four and lost four of their opening eight games.
The club have made their worst start to a season since 1986 - but there are a number of emerging young talents that have given fans a reason to be positive in the future.
