Chelsea supporters have lost it with Mykhailo Mudryk following his weak cameo performance against West Ham in Sunday’s 3-1 Premier League defeat.
Mudryk was left out of the starting XI named by Mauricio Pochettino but came on at the break for the injured Carney Chukwuemeka, who had lit up the first half of the match with a fine equalising goal for the Blues.
The Ukraine international struggled to make an impact in the game, falling over when well placed in the box and firing wildly off target when presented with a scoring opportunity.

There were some highlights, though. Notably, Mudryk did well to fashion space and deliver a low cross that had no takers, but it was ulimtatley another disappointing outing for a player who is still waiting on his first Chelsea goal after 19 appearances and only has a couple of assists to compensate.
To make matters worse, Chelsea’s defeat to 10 men brought his limp display into sharp focus, leaving fans once again disappointed with a performance that only raises more questions over the wisdom of the club to hijack Arsenal’s January move for him in a deal that could reach €100 million.

I wonder why Maatsen didn't replace Carney. He understands use of pocket space, applying pressure and closing angles better than Mudryk.

There are, however, still some Chelsea fans who believe that he will come good.
One said: “Give him the next few rounds of fixtures against Luton, Forest and Bournemouth.
“Let him build some consistent minutes and then re-evaluate after those games when we’re more settled - potential is great but we need to start seeing more.”
It remains to be seen if Mudryk will get that chance, with Luton to travel to Stamford Bridge on Friday.
