Despite getting a red card on his Blues debut, Felix has grown during games and is starting to look like a real handful for the opposition.

Though he has netted just once in seven outings in all competitions, Felix is showing glimpses of what he’s capable of and why he is one of the most exciting forwards around.

The player is set to return back to Spain in the summer, but Chelsea are already working on ways to make the Portugal international’s move permanent.

Champions League a sticking point?

He was asked whether qualification for Europe will be key in deciding his future, however - and Felix admitted that getting into the Champions League and playing football in the competition is something every player wants to do.

He said: "Yeah, playing in the Champions League is always different. It’s a competition that everyone wants to play. But now I’m focused on this Champions League, on the game. We have a lot of games yet to try to reach the Champions League in the league. It’s not over.

"But, yeah, playing in the Champions League is an important decision, but the future no one knows, so let’s see what happens and then we’ll see.”

It puts them in the last eight of the competition, with their term finally starting to take shape as we enter the final few months.
