Here’s a rundown of the best goals from new signings this weekend.

Darwin Nunez: Fulham v LIVERPOOL

Darwin Nunez is the most expensive player in the Premier League this summer, having moved to Liverpool for a fee that could reach €100 million. The Uruguay international got off to an excellent start with the Red Devils as he netted in the Community Shield last weekend against Manchester City.

He followed that up with a strike in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Fulham – a goal that could prove priceless for the Reds come the end of the season given the close nature of their battle with Manchester City last term.

It was a strike created by Mohamed Salah down the right, with the Egypt international getting in behind the Cottagers defence to play a square pass that was flicked home brilliantly by the former Benfica striker.

Sadio Mane: Eintracht Frankfurt v BAYERN MUNICH

Liverpool allowed Sadio Mane to leave for Bayern Munich in one of the shock deals of the year and the Senegal international is already up and running in the Bundesliga in terms of goal scoring.

Bayern ran rampant over Frankfurt on the opening day of the season, with Mane getting their third goal before half an hour was even played.

It was a goal that was started by Joshua Kimmich in the midfield as his lofted pass picked out Serge Gnabry, who in turn crossed for Mane to send a diving header into the goal.

Jordy Siebatcheu: UNION BERLIN v Hertha

US international striker Jordy Siebatcheu has made quite the impression since landing in Germany from Young Boys in the summer. Last weekend, he scored a spectacular near-post volley in a DFB Pokal match against Chemnitzer but truly announced himself this time around by netting in one of the Bundesliga’s biggest derbies.

Indeed, the striker broke the deadlock against Hertha in fine fashion with a glancing header from a Sheraldo Becker cross when he was placed beyond the near post.

Gareth Bale: Real Salt Lake v LAFC

Gareth Bale has started to put his nightmare year with Real Madrid behind him in MLS, where he already had a goal to his credit before Saturday’s road match with Real Salt Lake.

However, the Wales international star will have scored few goals better than the one he mustered in Utah.

Gathering possession on the right, he charged past a couple of defenders before finishing from a tight angle.

Ellis Simms: Bristol City v SUNDERLAND

Sunderland are a club that feel they belong in the Premier League, but for now they are aiming for a strong season in the Championship after winning promotion from League One.

Ellis Simms has arrived from Everton after a successful spell in Scotland with Hearts last season, and he has made a brilliant first impression, scoring two goals for the Black Cats in a 3-2 win away to Bristol City on his debut, including this well-taken effort.
