Saudi Pro League side looking for a new midfielder - and anyone can apply

Fancy yourself to play in the Saudi Pro League?

If you meet the requirements set out in a certain job application, you can apply to play in the same league as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane.

The Saudi Pro League has burst onto the scene in the last few years due to their extravagant spending on transfer fees and wages.

Ronaldo, for example, is the highest-paid athlete on planet Earth due to his employment with SPL outfit Al-Nassr.

Website Futbol Jobs posted a new application for an unnamed club looking for a new midfielder.

It reads:

Footballers for the 1st division club in Saudi Arabia.

Positions:

•⁠ ⁠ Defensive midfielder.

The requirements of the football club are as follows:

•⁠ ⁠Experience in leagues of similar or higher level.

•⁠ ⁠Send CV sports/transfermarkt.

· Send player's highlight video (updated).

•⁠ ⁠Only direct and free player or agent who controls the player 100%.

Conditions:

•⁠ ⁠Salary: from 600,000 to 1 million euros.

Should the successful player earn the higher end of that salary bracket, he will still earn 208x less than Ronaldo who earns just over €208m per year at Al-Nassr.
