Cristiano Ronaldo apparently has a role in the new Fast and Furious movie
Hollywood star Vin Diesel has teased that Cristiano Ronaldo may feature in the next 'Fast and Furious' movie.
There have been 10 movies produced in the main 'Fast' series so far and it has proved to be a moneymaking behemoth. It is the eighth highest-grossing movie series of all time as the 10 movies produced in the main series, plus the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, have earned a cool $7 billion at the box office so far.
The most successful entry in the franchise was ‘Furious 7’ which made over $1.5 billion in ticket sales.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, is apparently planning for life after football and is keen to expand his empire and image in the United States, perhaps with a venture into acting.
He met Diesel recently, who posted on Instagram:
"Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him @cristiano."
The post was uploaded one day a go and already has 1.6 million likes.
The Fast franchise has been known to embrace icons from other areas of entertainment into the movies as former professional wrestler Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is a big part of the franchise, while current WWE superstar John Cena is also in the mix.
There are plenty of rappers and musicians who feature as major characters, too.
So, perhaps we will see CR7's acting chops when the new entry in the franchise, Fast XI (potentially named Fast Forever), is produced.
Ronaldo's venture into the movie business
Ronaldo has already stepped into the movie world as he has established his own production studio alongside 'Kick-Ass' and 'Layer Cake' director and producer Matthew Vaughn.
The studio, UR•MARV, was launched in April of 2025 and is said to be a collaboration between film and sport.

A statement on Ronaldo’s X page read: “Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies; Matthew Vaughn loves sport - and they both love a good story.
“Both have been disruptive champions at their game and will now combine the world of sport and storytelling through the launch of UR•MARV, an independent joint venture film studio embracing innovative technology, with a nod to tradition.
“Through UR•MARV, Ronaldo and Vaughn have financed and produced two action films together and are about to start a third in the same series. They look forward to announcing the first release soon.”
Ronaldo said on the venture: “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”
Vaughn added: “Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him - he’s a real-life superhero.”
