Ange Postecoglou is on a five-man shortlist to succeed under-fire Juventus manager Igor Tudor.

Tudor is at risk of the sack at Juventus after a dismal run of form.

The Bianconeri have not won for six matches and on Sunday were dominated by Como in a 2-0 away defeat to Cesc Fabregas' team.

Juve now find themselves down in seventh in Serie A and they have not won a game in the Champions League.

Tudor to be sacked by Juventus?

The general consensus is that Tudor has between now and the international break to save his job but if the results are particularly bad this week in the away matches versus Real Madrid and Lazio then the trigger could be pulled right away.

Nico Schira reports that Juventus chief Damien Comolli has drawn up a five-man shortlist to replace Tudor.

The favourite is Raffaele Palladino, who has already said he is available to take over until the end of the season.

Roberto Mancini and Luciano Spalletti are also options but would like longer contracts.

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Eden Terzic is on the shortlist and would agree to a short-term deal.

And the final name is Postecoglou, who is well-liked by Comolli.

The Australian has only been out of work a matter of days but already is on the shortlist for one of Europe's biggest jobs.

Postecoglou was relieved of his duties at Nottingham Forest on Saturday after becoming the first head coach in club history to not win any of his first eight games at the helm.

Postecoglou saw his side fall to a 3-0 home defeat against Chelsea.

The 60-year-old, who was sacked by Tottenham in the summer after a strange season in which he won the Europa League but finished 17th domestically, failed to improve Forest's fortunes in his brief time in charge.

Forest owner Marinakis informed Postecoglou of his dismissal immediately after the loss to Chelsea. Brief goodbyes ensued before the sacked manager left the City Ground.

The Australian was only in charge of Forest for a scarcely believable 39 days, making his reign the shortest of any permanent manager in Premier League history. The previous record was 40 days, held by Les Reed, who had an ill-fated stint at Charlton Athletic in late 2006.
