Paris Saint-Germain have embarked on a major squad overhaul over the past few years and they have created a team far less reliant on individuals than in seasons gone by.

Superstars such as Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar have made way for talented youngsters, and they have sculpted a set of players that finally managed to win the Champions League.

However, PSG’s squad remains incredibly bloated and they will be tasked with offloading a substantial amount of deadwood this year.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could leave PSG this summer.

Randal Kolo Muani

PSG paid a whopping €95 million to sign Randal Kolo Muani in 2023, but his move to the Parc des Princes hasn’t worked out at all.

He only managed nine goals across all competitions in his first campaign at the club and after falling out of favour under Luis Enrique, the France forward joined Juventus on loan in January 2025.

After a red-hot start to life in Italy, the Frenchman endured a months-long goal drought, and his future is completely open.

Goncalo Ramos

Goncalo Ramos has been a fairly reliable goalscorer since his arrival at PSG, although he certainly isn’t a regular starter under Luis Enrique.

The Portuguese forward could therefore push for a summer exit and given PSG have been linked with a number of strikers in recent months, including Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Alexander Isak, they may need to sell Ramos.

Ramos has been a decent signing for PSG, although an exit feels somewhat inevitable in the near future.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

Gianluigi Donnarumma was the hero of PSG’s march towards their first-ever Champions League trophy, but he is certainly at risk of being sold this summer.

Despite his exploits, the Italy international has not always been the assured presence that helped his country to Euro 2020 glory and he makes far too many shot-stopping errors for a goalkeeper of his level.

Furthermore, he is poor in possession and given Enrique's desire for an adequate ball-playing goalkeeper as well as his expiring contract, Donnarumma may be offloaded ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Marco Asensio

After failing to establish himself as a regular starter at PSG, Marco Asensio secured a loan move to Aston Villa in January and he is expected to leave the Parisians on a permanent deal following the conclusion of the campaign.

Despite his immense form at Aston Villa, Asensio is unlikely to work his way back into the fold at PSG due to competition from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue.

As a result, a permanent exit this summer is on the cards.

Bradley Barcola

Bradley Barcola was the heir-apparent to Kylian Mbappe, and he certainly played like it in the early parts of the 2024-2025 campaign. However, his influence gradually decreased as the season went on.

He eventually lost his place to January signing Kvaratskhelia and is now reportedly stalling on signing a new contract with the Parisians as he carefully considers his future.

Bayern Munich have made the Frenchman their top target for the left wing, but it remains to be seen if PSG are willing to do business.
