Kylian Mbappe, who is at loggerheads with PSG over his future, is drawing up his exit plan from the club, with Real Madrid and Arsenal among the teams interested in signing the player.

Mbappe’s contract is up in 2024 and the France superstar is refusing to take up the offer of a one-year extension, which is valid until the end of the month.

Fearful of losing one of the world’s most valuable players on a free transfer next summer, PSG are considering the possibility of offloading the player immediately.

Kylian Mbappe: PSG squad react in UNEXPECTED way as Real Madrid rumour persists

Mbappe is set to meet president Nasser Al-Khelaifi for showdown talks, with the Qatari sending a powerful message to the striker.

Speaking to Cadena SER, he said: “The club is bigger than anyone here, including me. And whomever doesn’t want to play or doesn’t respect the badge shouldn’t be here. The best facilities in the world have been built, there are no more excuses. There is nothing missing. Concentrate on performing and then let the results come.”

Defensa Central, meanwhile, reports that Mbappe plans to be open with his employers, having talked about strategy with his mother and agent Fayza Lamari.

Mbappe does not want to have a hostile stance towards Al-Khelaifi and will shake his hand if it is offered to him.

Real Madrid are hot favourites to land the striker on a free transfer next summer, but FootballTransfers understands Arsenal are also ready to weigh up a bid.

EIGHT blacklisted by PSG boss

While the Mbappe saga continues to rage, head coach Luis Enrique has taken steps to reduce the number of players in his squad. The Spaniard has blacklisted eight players with the intention of offloading them this summer.

Abdou Diallo, Layvin Kurzawa, Leandro Paredes, Georginio Wijnaldum and Keylor Navas are not in the coach’s plans, Sport reports, while youngsters Timothee Pembele, Colin Dagba and Ismael Gharbi are also free to leave the club.

Somewhat surprisingly, the names of Mauro Icardi and Julian Draxler were not on this list, with reports in France suggesting both are welcome to leave.
