Willem Geubbels may only have turned 20 in August, but the Monaco teenager has already seen a great deal in his career.
Signed in 2018 from Lyon, he was billed as the club’s long-term replacement for Kylian Mbappe, having been touted as one of the hottest properties in France.
Things, however, have not gone to plan for the forward, who has spent much of the last three years injured and now finds himself on loan at Nantes.
He remains a player of promise, yet his career currently balances on the edge of a knife.
