Fifteen of the 16 teams who will fight it out in the Champions League last-16 have now qualified from the group stages.

In Group A, Napoli and Liverpool completely dominated, scoring a whopping 37 goals between them. Both teams had already qualified before matchday six, with the Serie A side edging the Reds on goal-difference to top the group. Ajax qualified for the Europa League in third, with last year's Europa League runners-up Rangers eliminated.

In Group B, Atletico Madrid suffered a shock elimination as Porto and Club Brugge qualified from the section. Atletico needed to match or better Leverkusen’s result on Matchday 6 to at least make the Europa League, something they failed to do.

In Group C, Barcelona were the big casualties as they had to settle for Europa League football in third place. Bayern Munich have won the group and Inter Milan have qualified in second. Viktoria Plzen finished bottom.

In Group E, Chelsea qualified as group winners. Milan came second after beating Salzburg on Matchday 6 to qualify. The Austrians finished third and Dinamo Zagreb came fourth.
