Real Madrid plan to ease Brazilian wonderkid Endrick into the first-team when he joins the club in 2024, according to reports.

The Spanish giants have already a deal to sign the forward for €60 million when he turns 18 next year. Of that fee, €35m will be paid up-front, as per multiple reports, while €25m will be paid if Endrick meets certain add-on clauses.

Despite the huge investment into the teenager, Real Madrid are prepared to play the long-game with Endrick, similar to how they integrated both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo into the senior side.

That is according to Marca, who have reported that Real Madrid want Endrick to grow as a player within a protection bubble the club will provide.

Los Blancos’ aim is to reduce the pressure on his shoulders when he arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu, rather than increase it by thrusting him straight into a starring role.

Real Madrid’s Endrick plan

Carlo Ancelotti’s side don’t currently have a recognised senior striker at the club on a permanent basis, with Joselu only on loan from Espanyol, but they don’t plan on relying on Endrick immediately.

Following Karim Benzema’s departure, Real Madrid have been utilising a split-striker method this season, with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo deployed through the middle and Jude Bellingham supporting from an attacking midfield role.

The England international has scored 13 goals in 13 games since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund as he flourishes in a more advanced position than the one he played in the Bundesliga.

Vinicius Jr managed less than 900 La Liga minutes in his debut campaign at Real Madrid, while Rodrygo amassed just over 1,000 league minutes in his first season. Both players joined the club straight from Brazil and were eased into the first-team; Real Madrid’s plan is to do the same with Endrick.

Endrick has scored 10 goals in just over 2,000 minutes of action for Palmeiras in 2023, including a brilliant brace in their win over Botafogo last weekend.
