Fabrizio Romano transfer news: Liverpool and Arsenal DEALS, major Man Utd DEVELOPMENTS

Football transfer news reporter Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest on all the biggest headlines, including done deals at Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as big developments at Man Utd.
Kerkez’s Liverpool signing date revealed
After completing a deal for Florian Wirtz on Friday, Liverpool are now ready to announce their third major arrival of the summer, with Milos Kerkez to join the Anfield club after a slight delay in his move from Bournemouth.
Romano revealed on his YouTube channel: “Those technical things are now fully resolved. The agreement that was done verbally a few days ago between Liverpool and Bournemouth can now be put on paper. After resolving these technical issues, they decided to proceed with the formal steps.
“Milos Kerkez to Liverpool is a here we go. The price is £40 million. He’ll sign a five-year contract. He should sign on Tuesday, when he should travel to Liverpool for medical tests and contract signing.
“Several clubs from around Europe tried to enter but there was never a possibility. Kerkez only wanted to go to Liverpool.”
Zubimendi to Arsenal confirmed
Arsenal are also poised to complete a major deal, Romano has said.
“Important confirmation today also from London. Martin Zubimendi, the first signing of the summer under new director Andrea Berta, was in London today together with his agent to complete the formal steps of his move to Arsenal. We can consider Zubimendi as a new Arsenal player,” he said.
“We’ve had reports from Spain about Real Madrid in recent weeks but Zubimendi was always going to be an Arsenal player. The transfer fee will not be the €60m release clause. They will pay something around €63-64m. So slightly more, but with better payment terms. The agreement is done and now sealed for Martin Zubimendi to be a new midfielder for Mikel Arteta.”
Romano’s information mirrors that FootballTransfers has exclusively reported throughout this saga.

Emi Martinez to Man Utd: The truth
While Man Utd are interested in Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez, Romano says no deal is in the pipeline. Any potential move hinges on Andre Onana, who has been linked with Monaco, leaving.
Romano says: “Monaco are not in active talks to sign Andre Onana. My information is that they’re not in concrete talks.
“If Onana leaves – and that could be to Saudi or any other destination – Man Utd want to sign a goalkeeper they appreciate. Emiliano Martinez at Aston Villa, who is open to joining Manchester United is one option. But again, it’s not a concrete negotiation.
“It depends what happens with Andre Onana. The Onana situation is open. He’s happy to stay at Man Utd but if an important proposal arrives, that could be a different story.”
Four sales to fund Mbeumo deal?
Romano also touched on the situation of Bryan Mbeumo, who continues to be heavily linked to Man Utd and Tottenham. FootballTransfers understands there’s a 'good chance' the Cameroon international heads to Thomas Frank’s new side, but the possibility of a move to Old Trafford remains active.
“The club-to-club conversation between Man Utd and Brentford is still ongoing, is still underway. Talks are ongoing but at the moment, we’re still waiting on Man Utd finding an agreement. They’ve had a first bid rejected,” Romano said.
“Remember how important outgoings will be at Manchester United this summer because there are many players are completely out of the project: Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho. If all these players leave, it will generate money for players to join in this summer transfer window. We have to be patient and see what will happen with the exits.
“There have been approaches for Anthony from Italian clubs in the recent days and weeks. My understanding is that he has given his priority to return to Betis. Let’s see if they can reach an agreement. But it’s a situation to watch for Man Utd to generate money in this transfer window.”
