The five best Bundesliga transfers of the season

The 2024 Bundesliga summer transfer window was responsible for several high-profile deals, with Bayern Munich in particular spending big in an attempt to dethrone Bayer Leverkusen.
A host of other clubs in the German top flight were also busy in the market, although they opted to secure cheaper alternatives and some of those signings have performed exceptionally well this year.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through the five best Bundesliga transfers of the season.

Michael Olise - €53m (Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich)
Michael Olise was the most expensive signing in the Bundesliga last summer, but he has been an excellent addition to the Bayern Munich squad and he has more than justified his €53 million price tag.
The Frenchman was heavily pursued by Chelsea during his time at Crystal Palace, however Bayern won the race for his signature in 2024 and he has been an immense creative outlet down the Bavarian’s right flank this term.
Olise has already surpassed 30 goals and assists for the campaign, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has constantly risen since his move to the Allianz Arena.

Serhou Guirassy - €18m (Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund)
Serhou Guirassy was available for less than €20m last summer, due to a bargain release clause in his Stuttgart contract, yet several Premier opted against signing him, despite reported interest.
He eventually joined Borussia Dortmund for a mere €18m and he has continued his fine form at the Signal Iduna Park.
Guirassy scored his 30th goal of the season during a 3-2 win over Hoffenheim in late April and he has firmly established himself as one of the most underrated strikers in world football since his move to Dortmund.
Hugo Ekitike - €16.5m (PSG to Eintracht Frankfurt)
Eintracht Frankfurt opted to sign Hugo Ekitike for €16.5m last summer, following a loan spell at the club, and he has been an excellent addition to their squad this season.
The Frenchman formed an impressive partnership with Omar Marmoush during the first half of the campaign and he has stepped in since the Egyptian’s departure to Manchester City in January.
After a poor stint at Paris Saint-Germain, Ekitike is now considered to be one of the best young strikers in Europe and he is set to hit the 25-goal mark before the season ends.
Tim Kleindienst - €7m (Heidenheim to Borussia Monchengladbach)
Heidenheim shocked the Bundesliga when they finished eighth during the 2023-24 season and secured a place in the Europa Conference League as a result.
A key reason behind their immense campaign was Tim Kleindienst, who netted 12 goals in the German top flight and earned himself a €7m move to Borussia Monchengladbach in the process.
Since arriving at Borussia-Park, Kleindienst’s reputation has grown exponentially; he is now Germany’s first-choice number nine and he has already scored 15 Bundesliga goals for Gladbach.
Mohamed Amoura - Loan with €15m option to buy (Union Saint-Gilloise to Wolfsburg)
Mohamed Amoura is the final player on this list and he has already been linked with several elite European clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, thanks to a stellar campaign at Wolfsburg.
The Algeria international has been one of the best forwards in the Bundesliga this season and he is on course to reach 20 goals and assists in the German top flight.
Wolfsburg have reportedly already activated their €15m option to buy clause, but Amoura may immediately be offloaded for a healthy profit amid significant interest in his signature.
