'Never give up’ – Football world sends its love to Sebastien Haller

Borussia Dortmund revealed on Monday evening that their forward Sebastien Haller has been diagnosed with a testicular tumor.
The German club are in Switzerland on a training camp, where Haller was a part of the side, and he had to withdraw from training.
After further tests, the tumor was discovered, and Haller was sent back from the camp, with the club offering their full support in the forward’s treatment.
Haller only moved to Dortmund last month, having spent the last season-and-a-half at Dutch club Ajax, and many of his former team-mates have been sharing messages of support on social media.

Ajax captain Dusan Tadic led the tributes with a post on his Twitter feed, wishing his former team-mate the best for his treatment.
Clubs across European football joined in, sending their thoughts to the Ivorian forward, who had just finished a wonderful season in the Netherlands, where he won the league title and scored 11 Champions League goals.

His former clubs, Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham United also sent in their best wishes for the player and hoped for a speedy recovery.
West Ham captain Declan Rice also sent out a tweet with the same, and the two played together during Haller’s time in England.
Haller made a return to Germany on the back of a season where he scored 34 goals in 43 appearances, following on from his first six months at Ajax, where he netted 13 in 23 appearances.
Prior to that, he had a complicated spell at West Ham United, but has priors of excelling in Germany, as he was one of the Bundesliga’s finest while at Eintracht Frankfurt.
He scored 33 goals across 77 appearances when he played for Frankfurt, having done well in the Netherlands and France with Utrecht and Auxerre prior to that.
Haller was brought in to Dortmund to replace the departing Erling Haaland, who joined Manchester City earlier in the summer transfer window.
