Neymar is living the dream of every Batman fan thanks to an extravagant €1.3 million purchase that is guaranteed to turn heads.

The Brazil international superstar has taken to Instagram to show off a replica Batmobile, Batman’s famous car, that he has had custom-built over the course of the last three years.

He enlisted the help of Brazilian designer Adhemar Cabral to lead the project, which started in 2022 and has taken a team of 50 people to complete.

It had been on display in the Dream Car Museum in Sao Paulo before arriving at the home of Neymar, who is a big fan of Batman, boasting a tattoo of the superhero on his back.

Neymar fans hoping to spot the former Barcelona and PSG star taking to the streets of Sao Paulo in the vehicle will be left disappointed, however. The car, which has a V8 engine and an estimated power output of between 450 and 500 horsepower, is not road legal. It is not registered and does not have certification.

The attacker can, however, use it on private land and has shown off his new wheels on Instagram.

Cabral has also released a video of the build on Instagram.

He posted: “Take a look at a bit of our 3-year journey facing one of the greatest challenges we've encountered. Every screw, every weld… all done with soul. Today, the Tumbler gets a new home.

“Challenge overcome. Immense satisfaction. We continue building dreams with passion. A huge thank you to my entire team who help make the dreams of enthusiasts come true!”

Neymar is back with a bang

Neymar has endured several difficult months on the field yet exploded back into life during his first full match in five months as he netted for Santos against Flamengo on Wednesday.

“I'm not 100%, but I'm getting better every day. I want to be in better shape, and that takes time. Both playing and training. My body is still adapting, getting used to everything again. It's not easy to deal with the injury I had,” he said, referring to the ACL problem that devastated his time with Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

Neymar recently signed a contract extension with Santos that runs until the end of 2025.
