Revealed: Chelsea ready to spend €142m on THREE Inter stars

Chelsea are lining up an ambitious transfer approach for no fewer than three Inter players, according to reports.

The Blues are desperate to strengthen their defence after seeing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen leave on free transfers.

They they lost one of their top summer targets when Sevilla star Jules Kounde chose Barcelona over Stamford Bridge, though the Londoners did clinch the signing of Napoli ace Kalidou Koulibaly.

After a frustrating transfer window to date the club is now keen to push forward with signings, and its eye is firmly fixed on San Siro.

According to Football London, Milan Skriniar, Denzel Dumfries, and Cesare Casadei.are all targets for Chelsea, who could well look to complete a triple move in the coming weeks.

Skriniar is the kind of top-level centre-back Chelsea need after their summer losses, having shined at Inter since his move from Sampdoria in 2017.

The Slovakia international has made 215 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals and helping them to Scudetto and Coppa Italia honours during his time at San Siro.

Dumfries, meanwhile, enjoyed a fine debut campaign at San Siro following his move from PSV in 2021, netting five goals from defence in all competitions and instantly establishing himself as a fixture in Simone Inzaghi's starting line-up.

How much would trio cost Chelsea?

Those talents, of course, will not come cheap.

Skriniar alone is rated at €80 million by his club, who would also look for a handsome profit on the €12.5m paid to PSV for roving wing-back Dumfries just a year ago in order to sell.

Add Casadei, a 19-year-old midfielder whose progress has long been tracked by Chelsea, and the total transfer value could come to a hefty €142m.

The Blues have confirmed two transfers so far this summer, with Koulibaly joined by Raheem Sterling as the new faces at the Bridge.
