Fabrizio Romano confirms new €75m offer to sign Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray will submit a new €75 million offer for Victor Osimhen, according to Fabrizio Romano.

After having two initial bids turned down for the Napoli striker, Galatasaray are now set to reach the figure on Osimhen's release clause.

Romano reported late on Tuesday evening that Galatasaray will now submit a €75m bid for Osimhen.

The only details to agree on before the transfer is complete is the payment terms of this €75m offer.

The clause stipulates that the €75m is paid in two installments, while Galatasaray currently want to pay it in five installments.

Osimhen has already agreed on personal terms with Galatasaray and given the go-ahead to make his loan from last season permanent.

Talks will now continue over the coming hours to finalise the deal.

Galatasaray previously had offers of €50m plus €5m in bonuses - and then €60m - rejected by Napoli, who are demanding €75m to sell.

Romano's update follows a flurry of news on Monday that Osimhen has decided to join Galatasaray this summer.

He has rejected multiple lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and Al-Hilal as he wants to continue his football in Europe.

Osimhen had ideally hoped to secure a move to the Premier League or a major European club - with Juventus also admirers - but with no offer forthcoming appears to have settled to remain at Galatasaray.

Osimhen is one of the biggest names on the summer transfer market having been transfer listed by Napoli.

He has been linked to a host of Europe's biggest clubs, including Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray last summer on loan for the season from Napoli until June 2025.

It was a dry loan with Galatasaray simply covering his salary from September until June at a cost of €10 million.

He enjoyed a fantastic season with Galatasaray, scoring 36 goals in all competitions and winning the league.

Osimhen has returned to Napoli but will leave the club permanently this summer.

The 26-year-old has a release clause in his Napoli contract worth €75 million, for foreign clubs only from July 1 to 15.

He has no future at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona after falling out with the club last year.
