Chelsea are still hoping to complete a spectacular late transfer window deal for Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet.

Klopp opens Real Madrid talks with Haaland
Real Madrid’s interest in Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is about to step up a notch, with prospective future manager Jurgen Klopp already having held talks with the prolific No.9 over a move to the Bernabeu.
Reports from Spain indicate that the German manager has already contacted Haaland over the potential of a summer move to Los Blancos, despite the striker still having eight years to run on his deal in Spain.

Arsenal step up Julian Alvarez interest
Viktor Gyokeres’ position as Arsenal’s first-choice centre-forward is set to come under fresh scrutiny with the news that the Gunners are sounding out Atletico Madrid attacker Julian Alvarez for a summer move.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has already started exploring the possibility of a deal, having been the man who took Alvarez to the Spanish capital from Manchester City.
