Manchester United are set for a pivotal transfer window in their modern history in the coming weeks as INEOS properly take control of football operations at Old Trafford.

With a new structure expected to take place above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils are set for significant change this summer - potentially including the Dutchman.

Ten Hag remains under pressure at Old Trafford, with Man Utd looking at several different replacement options, including Graham Potter, Roberto De Zerbi and Gareth Southgate.

Off the pitch, though, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS looking to oversee drastic improvement on the pitch following their arrival earlier this year.

No more Ed Woodward, and hopefully a structure which can set up the club for future success. Expect many players to leave and several to come in during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

There are expected to be many moves this summer with players coming and going, and the Old Trafford rumour mill is already in full swing.

Michael Olise, Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana are among their summer transfer targets as INEOS prepare to spend millions in the market.

Al Nassr preparing €150m Bruno bid

Al Nassr are preparing a bid of around €150 million for Man Utd attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese star has arguably been United's best player over the past couple of seasons, but after another disappointing campaign for the club as a whole, he has been left frustrated. Though he remains committed to Man Utd, he could be swayed by the possibility of making around €80m per season in the Saudi Pro League. (TeamTalk)

United legend doubts they can sign 'top' players

Gary Pallister doesn't believe Man Utd are in a position to sign "top" players due to the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League.

"Top players are looking at clubs that are progressing," he told BetVictor.

"They are looking at where they can win the Premier League and the Champions League. At this moment in time, Manchester United haven't got the pull of the Champions League and that's something that does affect recruitment."

No Lens deal for Varane yet

Lens president Joseph Oughourlian has played down the possibility of the club signing Raphael Varane.

It has already been confirmed that Varane will leave Man Utd this summer, with Saudi Arabia mentioned as another possible destination for the player.

"I don't have this information that the deal is advanced," he told FootMercato.

"I don't recognise what a lot of articles are saying. For an investment like that, someone would probably have consulted me. For the fan that I am, it's my dream. For the president, there is no negotiation, we will have to see the financial elements."

Olise named in France's Olympics squad

Thierry Henry has named Michael Olise in his France squad for the Olympics.

This is something for Man Utd to consider as they are looking to buy the player from Crystal Palace this summer. Though United could potentially tell the player not to go to the Olympics, should he want to go he will arrive late to pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

The ONE condition that could see Sancho return to United

Jadon Sancho is willing to play for Manchester United again as long as Erik ten Hag isn't the manager.

The pair had a falling out in December and it led to the player returning to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign. BVB want to keep him, but they might not be able to pull off an expensive acquisition.

A return to Man Utd is a possibility, then, but Sancho won't work with Ten Hag. (Mirror)

Bayern approach Bruno Fernandes

Bayern Munich have made an approach to Man Utd and Bruno Fernandes with regards to a potential transfer for the Portuguese midfielder.

Fernandes has cut a frustrated figure at Old Trafford this season and could be looking for a way out in order to guarantee Champions League football. The German giants have emerged as suitors, and are interested in a deal to bring the player to the Allianz Arena. (O Jogo)
