Al Nassr have intensified their interest in Liverpool star Luis Diaz and are prepared to make an offer in excess of €85 million.

That is according to Ben Jacobs, who reports that Diaz is Al-Nassr’s top left wing target during the summer transfer window.

Diaz’s future at Anfield is in the balance, with the Colombian a long-time Barcelona target.

Indeed, despite the imminent signing of Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, Barcelona president revealed last week that the club are still interested in both Diaz and Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford.

Diaz is keen on a move to Barcelona but Jacobs is unsure whether he would agree to join the Saudis.

What did Jacobs say?

Luis Diaz remains Al-Nassr's top left-wing target, even after Liverpool told Barcelona he is not for sale,” Jacobs said on X.

“Al Nassr prepared to offer in excess of €85m.

“Diaz was open to Barcelona, but still unclear if he'll consider Saudi.

“Al Nassr have several other options they will now discuss with incoming head coach Jorge Jesus.

“Kaoru Mitoma has not changed his mind since a January approach even though he remains a target.

“Gabriel Martinelli has been discussed as another option.”

Diaz scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 50 appearances for Liverpool last campaign, but he isn’t expected to sign a new deal at Anfield.

His contract expires in 2027, which has put his future at the club from this summer onwards in doubt.

Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in 2022 and has enjoyed a successful spell on Anfield, scoring 41 goals in 148 games and winning one Premier League, one FA Cup, two League Cups and a Community Shield.

He has been capped 64 times for Colombia, scoring 19.
