Man Utd transfer news: Fabrizio Romano confirms interest in €100m superstar

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Al Hilal want to sign Man Utd superstar Bruno Fernandes this summer.
Romano reports that Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al Hilal have made made Bruno one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.
They are expected to make a big offer for the Portugal attacking midfielder, but Romano says that no official talks have started yet between the two clubs.
Man Utd are keen to keep Bruno, with manager Ruben Amorim considering the player a key part of his project going into next season.
Bruno to leave Man Utd?
Bruno has been increasingly linked to a Man Utd exit in recent weeks, with Real Madrid reported to be preparing a big money move of their own.
There have been reports of a massive €100 million bid from the European champions, who have been enduring a difficult season and plan to sign a top midfielder.
Fernandes has been one of Europe’s most productive attacking midfielders for many years now but has been frustrated at times by the lack of success and trophies at United.
This has led to talk he would wish to quit United for Madrid if an offer comes in but it remains to be seen whether he would be willing to leave European football at the age of 30 to move to Saudi Arabia.
Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim has made it clear recently that he does not want Bruno to leave.
"No. It's not going to happen,” Amorim said last month.
"He’s 30, I think, but he’s still so young because he plays 55 games every season and between assists and goals he’s there for 30 at least.
"We are in control of the situation and I feel that he is really happy here, especially because he understands what we want to do and then I think he is one more supporter of Manchester United. He really feels it.
"Sometimes the frustration that you and everybody sees, and says, 'It's not a good thing for the captain' - it's a sign that he wants it so bad.
"This is the kind of player we want. He's not going anywhere - because I already told him."

Fernandes joined Man Utd in 2020 from Sporting Lisbon. He has since made 285 appearances, scoring 98 goals but only winning one EFL Cup and one FA Cup.
