Chelsea face an important summer in the transfer market.

Although Todd Boehly has overseen a spend of more than €1 billion on new players since arriving at the club in 2022, there has been no success of note at Stamford Bridge to show for it.

Mauricio Pochettino arrived at the club last summer with the hope of turning their fortunes around, but another mid-table finish is on the cards for the richly assembled squad – and supporters are not happy.

Chelsea continue to target a raft of promising young players, but with the squad currently not delivering on the field, might they turn their attentions to more established stars going forward?

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen headlines Chelsea’s summer transfer targets, but the Blues are looking at alternatives, and many other deals will be done in a bid to get this squad into shape.

Our live Chelsea transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Blues, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

Sudakov price range revealed

Shakhtar Donetsk director of football Dario Srna has revealed that he expects Georgiy Sudakov ro fetch more than €60m when he departs.

The 21-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Sudakov is a unique footballer. He does a crazy amount of work and has a head on his shoulders. There are not many such players in Europe. Sudakov will leave for a very large sum. I’m sure it’s more than €60m.

Wright impressed with Jackson

Arsenal legend Ian Wright is impressed with Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson despite his tendency to miss chances.

The chances that he has missed always take precedent when people are talking about him, but I am seeing that guy’s pace, his link, his touch. Something is happening there. If he gets that goalscoring right there is something in there, I’m telling you.

Milan say NO to Thiago Silva

Milan have rejected the opportunity to bring Thiago Silva back to the club this summer.

Neville DEFENDS Nicolas Jackson

Gary Neville has defended Nicolas Jackson and insists the Chelsea forward has enjoyed a positive first season in the Premier League.

Jackson joined the Blues for £30 million from Villarreal in the summer and has scored 13 goals in 39 appearances for the club so far, but has come under criticism for his profligacy in front of goal.

"I actually like Nicolas Jackson. That might be an unpopular opinion on here, but I like him," the pundit said on the Gary Neville podcast. "I think he has a lot to give. He's a young player.

"There's a lot to be said about that. He might not be striker number one but if he was your striker number two or number three in a squad of 18 to 20 players, you'd say 'I'll take that'."

Chelsea keen on Sesko

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Chelsea's pursuit of Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig:

"There are around seven clubs keeping an eye on Sesko - we’ve spoken before about Arsenal and Manchester United scouting the player, and their interest remains, but I’ve also always mentioned one club specifically, and that’s Chelsea. Chelsea remain keen on Sesko but they still have to decide how much they want to invest on a striker."
