Chelsea in Bournemouth battle
Chelsea and Bournemouth are both vying to agree a deal with Alex Scott, TEAMtalk writes.
The midfielder has turned down several contract offers from the Cherries, but discussions remain ongoing to extend his current terms beyond 2028. As has been known for some time, the South Coast club are willing to hand him a release clause in order to allow him to complete a big move.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are trying hard to prise him away from Bournemouth, who don't want to sell him in January. Scott is the Blues' top midfield target for 2027, while there is also interest from Liverpool.
Olise request stuns Bayern
Michael Olise wants a release clause in his new Bayern Munich contract, BILD claims.
The Bundesliga champions want to hand the France international a new deal in order to deter interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool, and they are willing to make him one of their top earners with a salary north of €20 million per year.
Talks over a fresh deal are expected to start once Harry Kane's contract has been finalised. However, negotiations are expected to be tricky as Olise would like an exit mechanism in his new deal. Bayern could grant this request - Kane has a release clause - but only for a fee over €200m.
Man Utd in Mateta talks
Man Utd are in contact with the camp of Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, as per TEAMtalk.
The Red Devils are attentive to the striker market and could make a move in January if the right opportunity presents itself. Mateta, who has been on their radar for some time, could be just such an opportunity.
Having repeatedly failed to secure a transfer, the Frenchman continues to push for an exit from Crystal Palace. With his contract expiring in the summer, the Eagles may have no choice but to cash in on him in January.
Arsenal move for Ramon
Arsenal have started to make "moves" for Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon, Tuttomercatoweb reports.
The Spaniard's future has been blown wide open following reports that he is not keen to return to Real Madrid next summer. There had been an expectation that Los Blancos would exercise their €9m-€10m buy-back clause in his contract to replace Antonio Rudiger.
Ramon, though, has apparently rejected this plan. Instead, he could be on his way to the Premier League, where Chelsea and Arsenal have been keeping tabs on him. The latter, in particular, are showing an increasingly strong interest in the centre-back.
Man Utd, Juventus want Raum
Man Utd and Juventus are interested in signing RB Leipzig captain David Raum, Gazzetta dello Sport understands.
The Germany international is out of contract in 2027. By his own admission, there has not been much progress on an extension, and he already received attractive approaches from suitors this summer.
Man Utd and Juventus are both looking to sign a new left-back next year and have the 28-year-old on their radar. The Red Devils are described as the Italian giants' "main competition" in the race for Raum.
