Chelsea Transfer News Today: Pedro Neto agreement as €47m decision made
All the latest Chelsea transfer news in one place, including updates on Pedro Neto, Liam Delap and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Neto agrees Al-Hilal switch
Al-Hilal have agreed personal terms with Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, Sacha Tavolieri claims.
The Portugal international has become the subject of strong transfer speculation following the signings of Morgan Rogers and Geovany Quenda. Neto was recently linked with Man City and Tottenham.
However, it is now Al-Hilal who are making a strong move for the winger, with a contract agreement in place. It is claimed that Chelsea could be willing to sell Neto for around €60 million.
Delap unconvinced by Como move
Chelsea striker Liam Delap wants to remain in the Premier League this summer, talkSPORT reports.
The Blues have told the 23-year-old that he is surplus to requirements and have slapped a €47m asking price on him, which has prompted Como to make a proposal to bring him in this summer.
However, despite the Serie A side being able to offer Champions League football, Delap is not keen on the move. He wants to remain in England and is hoping that Everton or Newcastle formalise their interest.
Tosin on the way out
Tosin Adarabioyo was among the players omitted from Chelsea's squad for Saturday's friendly against Real Sociedad.
The defender has been made available for transfer, with Xabi Alonso keen to offload several defenders before the transfer window shuts at the start of next month.
According to Ben Jacobs, Benfica are interested in Tosin. Having had a bid for Southampton star Taylor Harwood-Bellis rejected - and with a gulf in valuation remaining - they could pivot to the Chelsea outcast.
Badiashile complications
Chelsea's discussions with Napoli over a deal for Benoit Badiashile came to a "standstill" on Friday, as per Gianluca di Marzio.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that a loan deal had been agreed between the two clubs, with Napoli agreeing to cover the former France international's full salary and to pay a €3m loan fee with an additional €1m in bonuses.
The Serie A side also secured a €27m purchase option. However, the club's president Aurelio de Laurentiis refused to greenlight the transfer because of a €1m "buyout bonus" he didn't approve of. The deal could still happen, but Napoli are exploring alternative targets.
