Myles Lewis-Skelly offer

Chelsea and Manchester United have both been offered the chance to sign Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly before the end of the summer transfer window.

Lewis-Skelly only started five Premier League matches last term and his long-term future at the club is in doubt following the €87.5 million signing of Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes.

The England star, who was omitted from Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad due to his lack of game time in 2025-26, has been on Chelsea’s radar for several months and the Blues have now been offered the opportunity to sign him.

That is according to Football.London, who report that Arsenal would be willing to sell Lewis-Skelly to the Stamford Bridge outfit if they receive a suitable bid. It’s reported that Man Utd have also been told that a summer deal is possible amid their pursuit of a new midfielder and a new left-back.

Sky Sports, on the other hand, understands that it was Chelsea who actively enquired about Lewis-Skelly. The report makes no mention of the Arsenal homegrown being offered to potential suitors, and it is thought that the Gunners have no intention of selling to a direct rival like Chelsea.

Mykhailo Mudryk agreement

Mykhailo Mudryk has agreed to leave Chelsea on loan before Deadline Day, as per BBC Sport.

The Ukraine winger has been cleared to return to competitive action following a doping ban and Chelsea are keen for him to build up his match sharpness with a loan move for the duration of the 2026-27 season.

It’s reported that Mudryk has agreed to leave on loan this summer, although he would prefer to remain in the Premier League, despite interest from Strasbourg.

Enzo Fernandez likely to stay

Chelsea expect Enzo Fernandez to remain at the club this summer despite interest from Manchester City, according to The Athletic.

The Athletic understands that Man City boss Enzo Maresca would be keen on a reunion with Fernandez, should Tijjani Reijnders leave the Etihad Stadium, having worked with the Argentina international during his time as Chelsea head coach,

However, the Blues are now planning to keep hold of Fernandez with the new Premier League season less than two weeks away.

Academy loan moves close

Chelsea are reportedly close to finalising loan exits for academy trio Reggie Walsh, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Shumaira Mheuka.

The Blues have opted against utilising the EFL loan market to its maximum potential in recent years, but they have changed their transfer approach this summer and they have prioritised sending their talented youngsters out on loan in order to fast-track their development.

As per BBC Sport, Walsh is on the verge of joining Wigan Athletic, Kavuma-McQueen is set to be unveiled as a Portsmouth player this week, and Mheuka is expected to be sent on loan once his contract extension is finalised. It’s understood that he has “broadly agreed” terms with the Blues, and a loan transfer will therefore soon take place.

Meanwhile, Ishe Samuels-Smith has joined Notts County on a straight loan deal.

Jamie Gittens update

Chelsea have received an update on the future of Jamie Gittens after learning Roma are targeting a different winger, according to reports in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Sunday that Serie A side Roma were weighing up a move to sign Gittens on a season-long loan.

However, the same publication understands Roma are now preparing a bid in the region of €25million to €30m (£21m to £25m) for Inter Milan’s Luis Henrique.

The move is reportedly being driven by the Roma hierarchy, however, and not by manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who is believed to prefer other options. And so it remains to be seen whether the Italian side will look to firm up their interest in signing Gittens from Chelsea.

Filip Jorgensen joins Strasbourg

Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has officially joined sister club Strasbourg on a season-long loan deal.

Mike Penders has returned to Stamford Bridge following a successful temporary spell in France last year, and Jorgensen has replaced him as Strasbourg’s new goalkeeper for 2026-27.
