Confirmed: Chelsea agree next transfer as 12 more deals lined up
Chelsea have reached a full agreement to send Axel Disasi on loan to Crystal Palace for the 2026-27 season, and 12 more player exits are expected to be finalised before Transfer Deadline Day.
Having prioritised new signings during the first two months of the summer window, Chelsea officials now face a race against time to trim down their bloated first-team squad and the next departure is set to be Disasi, who has undergone his medical at Palace.
Chelsea were initially keen to offload the Frenchman on a permanent deal this summer, but they have been forced to accept another temporary exit, with fellow centre-back Benoit Badiashile also on the verge of leaving on loan to Napoli.
Meanwhile, the Blues are in talks with sister club Strasbourg over deals for Deivid Washington, Omari Kellyman and Mykhailo Mudryk, as confirmed by BBC Sport reporter Nizaar Kinsella, with the latter also wanted by several clubs in the Premier League.
Al-Hilal, Real Sociedad are both eager to sign Mamadou Sarr on loan, Shumaira Mheuka has several options ahead of a temporary exit to gain first-team experience, and Nicolas Jackson is wanted by Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa.
In addition, Chelsea also need to find solutions for Liam Delap, Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, David Datro Fofana and Caleb Wiley, according to Kinsella.
Enzo Fernandez, Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto have been linked with exits too, amid significant transfer interest from Enzo Maresca’s Manchester City, but they are currently set to stay at the club. It’s reported that Alex Scott will be pursued if Fernandez departs.
Who have Chelsea signed and sold so far this summer?
Chelsea have signed 11 new first-team stars so far this summer, in addition to the arrivals of Harrison Bettoni and Alfie Osborne for the club’s academy.
Morgan Rogers is the standout new addition, following his €138m move from Aston Villa, and the club have also added Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Emmanuel Emegha, Pep Chavarria, Denner, Danny Welbeck, Dastan Satpaev and Jordan Henderson.
Andrey Santos, Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Tyrique George and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have been sold on permanent deals, while Alejandro Garnacho, Filip Jorgensen, Jesse Derry, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Harrison Murray-Campbell, Reggie Walsh, Genesis Antwi, Max Merrick, Kaiden Wilson, Hudson Sands, Ollie Harrison, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Satpaev have all left on loan.
