Fabrizio Romano confirms Arsenal’s next summer transfer
Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is travelling to Turkey ahead of completing his move to Besiktas, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano claims Trossard will arrive in Istanbul on Tuesday evening to undergo a medical and sign his contract with Super Lig giants Besiktas.
A separate report from talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs claims Trossard will put pen to paper on a three-year deal which includes the option for a further year.
The news comes after The Athletic reported last Sunday that Arsenal and Besiktas had agreed a €20million (£17m) deal for the Belgium star.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2023 and has scored 36 goals in 174 appearances in north London.
The 31-year-old played a key role in the Gunners winning the Premier League title last season, scoring the winner in the decisive 1-0 victory at West Ham United in May.

Trossard also had a hand in Belgium reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup, scoring two goals and recording three assists this summer.
Arsenal keen on Rogers and Barcola in quest to sign new left winger
There had been speculation surrounding Trossard’s future at Arsenal after it emerged the club want to sign a new left-sided attacker.
BBC Sport reported in June that Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen in that area of the pitch ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The same publication understands Arsenal are keen on Morgan Rogers, though The Telegraph claims the Aston Villa forward is valued at €152m (£130m).
BBC Sport also understands Arteta’s side are weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain and France talent Bradley Barcola.
An alternative report in The Athletic claims PSG are not entertaining offers for Barcola, however, with the winger holding a similar valuation to Rogers.
BBC Sport also understands Arsenal are interested in Club Brugge talisman Christos Tzolis, who scored 22 goals for the Belgian outfit last season.
